Legado Collaborates With Fabergé and Rome De Bellegarde to Launch Exclusive Collectors’ Boxes

There are pieces that collectors want because of their heritage, their rarity, their provenance. Then there are objects designed to drive them into a frenzy from the get-go. These four, unique boxes from a quarter of young, exciting luxury brands are definitely the latter.

Of the triumvirate involved, the first is Fabergé who need little in the way of an introduction. Their Visionnaire pieces are some of the coolest pieces of watchmaking any jeweller has come out with. Hell, more so than plenty of pure watchmakers at that.

‘St Petersburg – Winter Diamonds’ Box

Legado on the other hand you may not have heard of, though the family name of Fenty may be familiar. Fronted by Rihanna’s brother Rorrey, Legado is a new world cigar brand. By that I mean there’s nothing Cuban about them. They’re not quite your grandad’s smokes, but they are up there with some of the best, Bajan legend for a frontman or not – and this will be their first launch outside the Caribbean.

Finally there’s Rome de Bellegarde, who hold the record for the most expensive shot of cognac ever sold. A shot of it went a while back for just over 10K – and this is one of the few opportunities any cognac lover has to get their hands on one of the 67 24-karat gold-plated bottles. We’ve not tried the liquid ourselves, but as far as exclusivity goes there’s nothing quite like it.

‘Barbados – Spring Emeralds’ and ‘London – Summer Sapphires’ Boxes

These three brands have collaborated on four different collectors’ boxes, each dedicated to a different part of the world: Barbados for Legado, St. Petersburg for Fabergé, Cognac for Rome de Bellegarde and London, where they all came together. The boxes themselves are works of marquetry art, with themes illustrating their various inspirations.

Inside each you’ll find a Fabergé watch, a box of Legado cigars and a bottle of Rome de Bellegarde fine champagne cognac. They vary slightly from each to each, with the Barbados box holding a completely unique cigar, the St. Petersburg a unique Fabergé, but the level of quality, of rarity, stays the same throughout.

So where can you actually get these boxes? Well, you’ll need to be quick as the auction is being held 10th October. If you want to find out more and to make a bid, you can’t just rock up. These boxes are expected to go for around £800,000 after all. Instead, email Joanna.kupis@Faberge.com if you’re interested.
